It has been established to advance training and skills development facilitation in several sectors. KTP Training Group is currently accredited with Construction Education & Training Authority CETA SETA as the training provider and awaiting accreditation in the following SETA’s

The company was started by Collen Thongo, who is by professional a professional construction manager, electrical engineer, construction health & safety agent, property developer, facilitator, assessor and moderator. Collen Thongo has more than 18 years of experience in construction, engineering and energy sector either practicing or providing training combined. SACPCMP accredited and registered as Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr CPM) registration number: D/2081/2013.

KTP Training Group has been verified and found fully compliant for full accreditation by Construction Education & Training Authority CETA SETA

This accreditation indicates that the KTP Training Group provides valuable, portable, outcomes based and relevant training and assessment.

Training Methodology

KTP Training Group is fully accredited to offer the following qualifications under construction Seta.

  • Client needs and specifications are identified from RFQ/RFP.
  • Training proposal. Technical and Price Components are developed and submitted.
  • Assuming we win the tender/bid, and the contract is awarded, the below steps then follow.
  • A pre-course evaluation form is sent to the client to identify gaps and level (s) of delegates’ appreciation of key fundamental aspects of the course. Alternatively, client is contacted telephonically, by email or a face-to-face meeting is held to clarify issues started in the specification.
  • Training material is customized / aligned to client realistic needs.
  • Training material is presented to for inputs to ensure that organization’s operational or strategic imperatives are incorporated into the training material, and this might include organizational policies procedures, process maps, frameworks and any additional guideline as may be specified by client.
  • High impact training is conducted on a 40% theory, 60% practical preference, with the applied/practical preference weighting always having a major bias, sometimes reaching 80% of total contact time.
  • A post training evaluation is conducted, learners’ inputs analyses and results given to clients.
  • Assessment, moderation and SETA verification is done.
  • Certificates are issued.
  • Project comes to an end
